27 shortlisted artists will also participate in a group exhibition at the Sunny Art Centre, London. From these 27, 7 artists will be selected to exhibit their works at one of our partners' galleries in China along with the three Prize winners.

Who May Apply for the Sunny Art Prize
Submissions are accepted from artists worldwide and are judged equally. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to enter the competition.
You must be the artist or creator of the work(s), or you must be expressly authorised as a gallery, agent, or representative to submit the work(s) on behalf of the artist. If you are authorised by the estate of a deceased artist, you agree to be bound by these terms and assume the associated liabilities.
All visual artists from around the world are invited to submit their best artworks on the designated theme for inclusion in the exhibition.
Accepted Media
We accept all art styles, including both 2D and 3D works such as painting, sculpture, digital art, printmaking, fiber art, photography, graphic art, mixed media, as well as experimental and installation works.
We celebrate creativity in all its forms across various media, including:
- Painting and Drawing
- Video, Installation, and Performance
- Photography and Digital Art
- Artists’ Film
Theme
We accept works on any theme from artists at all stages of their careers.
Size Requirements
- 2D Work: Paintings, drawings, and projected videos (including moving images and installations) must be a maximum of 120x120 cm.
- 3D Work: Sculptures, ceramics, and mixed media artworks must be a maximum of 80x80x80 cm.
- Installation Art: Must be assembled on-site at the exhibiting location and can reach a maximum size of 100x100x100 cm.
Cost and Deadlines
- The entry fee is non-refundable. If you enter only one work, you cannot add a second work later.
- Pay your fee and submit your digital entry, including images of your artwork, by 23:59 (BST) on 31th August 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Announcement of the Shortlisted Artists
The shortlisted candidates will be announced on our website: Sunny Art Prize. We encourage you to stay connected with us for updates.
The first round of selection is based on digital images of artworks. From these, the judges will shortlist up to 4,000 entries for the final round.
If you pass the first round, you will be notified by email and asked to deliver your artwork to the Sunny Art Prize for the next round of selection.
